In Thailand, there are a total of three seasons. These are essentially determined by the northeast monsoon and the southwest monsoon. The cooler and dry season falls in the months of November to February. During this period, the northeast monsoon climate and weather in Thailand determined. As travel time these months are especially recommended. The temperatures are usually not more than 26 to 28 degrees.

From March to May, in the transitional period between northeast and southwest monsoon, it can be really hot in Thailand. Temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius are not uncommon. Weather and climate in Thailand are affected by the southwest monsoon from May to October. As travel time these months due to frequent rain and the intense heat are less recommendable. The rainy season is between August and September. During these months, some cities and regions have to deal with floods, many resorts remain closed.
